NATURALISTE U3A COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN AS AT 18th MAY 2020 FOR USE IN PREMISES IN WHICH U3A COURSES ARE UNDERTAKEN

Building entry/exit: Entry – participants required to exercise social distancing principles until premises are available for entry. This could involve waiting outside or in cars until advised that premises available. Course participants will be admitted in accordance with the rules relating to the premises being entered. Upon entry and exit, hand sanitising/hand washing will be undertaken.

Sanitising/hand washing: Sanitising lotion/hand washing should be available at the premises being attended by course participants.

Physical distancing: Chairs should be placed at points respecting the 2 sqm distance rule that will come into effect from June 6th or as later amended.

Support items: Participants should bring their own support items e.g. stationery and other items used during their course – items should not be shared unless it is possible to sanitise them.

Illness and Response: In agreeing to participate in the course participants have committed to complying with Health Department requirements. Participants should not attend if they have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms or showed signs of symptoms

Should any participant attend showing symptoms, that participant will be discreetly invited to discuss their situation with the Course Leader, and if thought appropriate, encouraged to leave the premises.

Attendance: An attendance record including name/contact/dates/venue/duration information should be maintained.

Participants are required to observe the Covid-19 rules related to the premises being attended at all times.
